Justin Thomas, a 27-year-old professional golfer on the PGA tour otherwise known as “JT”, is currently Justin Thomas is ranked as the 2nd best golfer in the world, but back in 2017 he was ranked the number 1 golfer in the world at the young age of 24. Justin was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He started playing golf around the same age that he could walk. Justin’s father and grandfather were both PGA golf teachers, so growing up he was always around golf in some way.
A fun fact about Justin is that he is the third youngest golfer to ever play in a PGA tour event. At the age of only 16 years and 3 months old, JT qualified for and played in the Wyndham Championship. Amazingly, he played in this tournament while still in high school! After finishing high school, JT committed to the University of Alabama where he would go on to win 6 titles throughout his 4 years of college. He also was added to the national college golf team in 2013 and did his country proud.
