My Top Picks to Win the U.S Open

Dustin Johnson is currently ranked world number 1 on the PGA tour, and world number 5 in fedex points this season. Dustin Johnson is also the 2016 U.S Open Champion. With multiple major championships under his belt, Dustin Johnson is one of my favourite picks to win the U.S open this year. Although he did not do as well in the Masters this year, not making the cut due to rough playing conditions, his game has been on point lately.

Although Bryson is not one of my favourite players on the PGA tour right now, he is still one of my favourite picks to win the U.S Open this year. Bryson, being the winner of the 2020 U.S Open, is a long hitting machine with a red hot putter. Bryson is currently number 1 on the PGA tour for driving distance, which leaves him with shorter shots into holes, allowing him to usually get the ball closer to the hole. He is also ranked very high on the PGA tour putting inside of the 10 foor range, making him a good candidate to win the 2021 U.S Open.

John Rahm is currently ranked 3rd place on the PGA tour right now. Although Rahm does not have any major victories, he has still been playing great golf lately. As of recently, Rahm has made the sponsorship switch from Taylormade to Callaway. Most people thought that with this switch he was going to be playing worse, but actaully he has been playing better after the club switch. At the recent 2021 Masters event, Rahm placed within the top 6, whilst also having his first son being born only a few days before the Masters! I feel like Rahm wants to play even harder than before now since he has a family to provide for.
